OSX 最強メンテナンス・アプリケーション「Onyx」がアップデート。

変更点は、

  • Deleting the content of Metadata folder while cleaning the user caches
  • Enable/disable the verifying of disks after burning
  • Enable/disable the Safari cache
  • Deleting the temporary items and Spotlight index in the Automation panel
  • Hungarian, Spanish and Catalan Localization of Uninstall-OnyX application
  • Enable/disable display of items in the application's submenu "Open Recent" of File menu
  • Global setting of number of recents items in the application's submenu "Open Recent" of File menu
  • You can receive the new messages with the format Text in Mail
  • Adjust the number of days preserved in the history of Safari
  • Show/hide the Customize Toolbar... item in the View menu of Finder
  • Show/hide the View Options item in the View menu of Finder
  • Display percentage of disk space used in the Info panel
  • AppleScript Error - Can't obtain "class bhit" of 1. (-1728) - corrected
  • Correction of the progress bar freezed while display a message in the Login window
  • AppleScript Error - rm: /Users/... : Permission denied (1) - corrected

てな感じで、ターミナルを使わずに、ほとんどどんな設定でも設定出来ちゃいます。


今回は、私が施している設定を書いてみる。

  • Scroll Arrows : 両端にまとめて配置
  • ウインドウとパネルの表示速度 : とても速い（本当はこのエフェクトも無効にしたいのです）
  • Graphic Effects : 全てのチェックを外す（非力なマシンには必要なし）
  • Dock エフェクト : スケール
  • Dock Animate : アプリケーション起動時のアニメーションを無効
  • Web ページの表示速度 : 速い
  • Safari のデバッグメニューを表示（いろんな隠れた機能が使える）
  • Point the link arrows of iTunes on : Library（おすすめです。Option を押しながらクリックすると、ITunes Music Store にアクセスします）
  • Disk Utility : ディスクイメージの検証を無効

いずれにせよ、劇的に体感速度が速くなったりはしないのですが、いらないエフェクトを無効にすることや、機能を無効とすることで、少しは快適になるかと思われます。
